Students participate in DECA which exposes the students to real lfe situations. Students have the opportunity to advance on to a state and national level competition. DECA also offers a variety of scholarship opportunities.

Would you make a Good Enterpreneur?

This course is designed for seniors with a desire to explore the American drean of owning their own business. It provides an overview of what is required to open a business. Students are given the opportunity to determine their potential as an entrepreneur. Curriculum includes developing a business plan, obtaining technical assistance, planning the market strategy, locating the business, financing the business, dealing with legal issues and government regulations, as well as the total management of the business. Management of the school store and activities in DECA (An Association of Marketing Students) are used to develop business and leadership skills.
